9 effective ways to keep your teeth healthy

Now a days a clean healthy teeth and oral hygiene is very important because it is associated with not only for eating and talking but also an important factor for building relationship. A good smile can attract people and can make your relationship stronger and happier. Am i right ? Hmm, If you have any doubt, then think if your partner has a yellowish ugly teeth! So it is very important to keep your mouth hygiene and have a healthy white teeth to have a beautiful attractive smile, Isn't it ? Here is 9 effective ways by which teeth can be maintained well and can be kept healthy. Here are all those listed in random order

1: Brush regularly

Simple to hear but have a great value. The first and foremost thing you should have to do is brush your teeth regularly. You should brush your teeth at least 2 times a day, morning and before going to bed. 3 times a day would be good.
Make sure your tooth brush has soft bristles which does not damage your enamel. It is good to use fluoride products in night to prevent cavities in teeth.



2: Floss regularly

Nice and very effective way to remove food particles from the surface of teeth and in gaps between them which can prevent tooth decay.

3: Use fluoride rinse 

Rinse helps in preventing tooth decay and helps strengthening the outer enamel of teeth

 4: Try to avoid soda

Try to avoid soda and other soft drinks like cola. The cola contains acids like citric acid and phosphoric acids which increase the acidity of mouth thereby demineralization of teeth, hence the teeth become weak and breaks.

5: Have more milk

Milk is the best substitute for soft drinks. Milk can make your jaw bone stronger and can also strengthen your teeth

6: Avoid chewing tobacco and smoking

Chewing tobacco and smoking is the major cause for tooth and complete oral tissue damage. The smoke and tobacco powder can cause stains on teeth and also weakens the teeth. Chewing tobacco can not only leads to discoloration of teeth but also can cause dangerous oral cancer. So avoid tobacco and related products

7: Chewing gums

These are of two types, one specifically made for chewing after meal which is a good one. It can remineralize teeth. But the other one which contains sugar and can attract micro organisms onto the teeth and can cause tooth decay

8: Avoid alcohol

Alcohol consumption can cause irritation of gum, tongue and oral tissue, poor healing after dental surgery, increased risk towards gum disease and increased tooth decay

9: Healthy diet

Proper and healthy food not only helps in maintaining fitness and getting a perfect body, but also helps in maintaining your oral structures very well. It helps in having mouth well-lubricated and taking extra care of your teeth and gums. You should always have water after intake of food, so temporary cleaning of teeth can be done. 

   Visit a dentist at least twice a year. Go for an oral check up at least every 6 months. A normal check up doesn't cost much, and is very helpful.
